We went to the annual Honey Festival and Quilt Show in Minco, Oklahoma this past weekend. It was very cold, but we had a good time.
Here is another little project I just finished. I didn't get a "before" picture, but this poor thing had badly peeling paint and the spindles were broken. It was one step away from the trash can. The only thing that saved it was the fact that it was stamped GERMANY on the bottom. So I bought a new dowel and cut new spindles, then I drilled out the holes and glued them in place. Then I spray painted it black.
I have a lot of paper cut blocks that I stitched up years ago laying around and I decided to turn them into real quilts. I hung a curtain rod on my wall to display the first one. It's a frog pattern. Now I'm finishing several more and making all the quilts the same size so I can change them out if I get tired of looking at this one. Here's a close-up image showing more detail:
